NAD PP 3i Digital Phono/USB Preamp, includes original box, external 24v DC power supply, usb cable. Not included is the VinylStudio CD with the free software version that shipped with the PP-3i. It's available for download, though, at http://www.alpinesoft.co.uk/. I purchased this unit new 8 months ago.
The PP 3i can handle MM or MC carts. It's been well cared for in my listening room, sitting between my Rega RP3 and Audio Research CA-50, providing a great budget-friendly sound. There are scratches on the top of the unit from where it sat underneath my former PSU (see pictures). Additionally, the power light does not illuminate when on, so I'm rating this a 6/10 (cosmetic only). It terms of its primary operation (i.e. serving as a phono preamp with USB), it's a 10/10.
"In the PP 3 phono preamplifier, NAD has produced a detailed, uncolored, and dynamic performer. Its A/D converter is fairly impressive, and its USB recording function is a breeze to use.... By even the most critical audiophile standards, the PP 3 has no meaningful flaws; I can't believe NAD can produce a product of this quality at this price."
