The top cone has a flat surface so equipment may sit directly on top of it. The cones are precision machined from military spec aluminum alloy, selected for its very narrow resonance band and precisely dimensioned to further suppress and dissipate vibrational energy, delivering a superior mechanical performance to steel, brass, carbon fiber and other composites used in traditional cones and spikes. Each part is black anodized for a smooth and uniform surface finish. The unique contra point and contoured support mechanism coupled with the isolation of a ball bearing lowers mechanical noise to vanishingly low levels.
