All Nordost Norse series cables feature proprietary Micro Mono Filament construction where a FEP insulating thread (2nd best insulator) is spirally wound around the conductor. The result is that the remaining 85% of the contact area of the conductor is now touched only by air, the best insulator. All models also use silver plated 99.99999% oxygen free copper solid core conductors.
