AKG K701 White special balanced edition in great clean condition. Professionally recabled for balanced-drive amplification by Headroom Corp. using 10 feet of Cardas FatPipe and dual 3-pin XLR termination.
Cardas Headroom FatPipe is a custom "Golden Ratio" four conductor cable featuring double-shielding, constant Q and crossfield, and pure copper litz constuction. Dual 3-pin XLR plugs feature gold-plated pins.
Can be used with any type of headamp using appropriate cable adapters, of course. I can provide a professionally made XLR to 1/4" plug adaptor cable if you need one. The option of using balanced-drive amplification is a great thing to have - especially if you're interested in hearing the full potential of these wonderful headphones.
No significant wear, scuffs, or scratches to speak of, these are in truly great "8/10" condition and have been lightly used. Shiny and clean, conservatively rated. Comes with original box, packing, and accessories and will also be double-boxed for safe shipment to you.
I may also consider an even trade deal for a pair of Sennheiser HD-650 headphones that are in "8/10" condition or better. Contact me and send some pics of your 650s if you are interested...
