Greetings from Ember Audio + Video! We are a hi-fi dealership in the heart of Winston-Salem, NC, and in less than two weeks time we shall be closing our doors. Thus, we have a bunch of fantastic products for amazing deals, as we are liquidating this incredible stock we have amassed over the years.
For sale today we have a fantastic pair of LCD-XC headphones from Audeze out of California. These superbly-built headphones employ planar magnetic drivers. Unlike the typical dynamic or cone drivers found in most headphones, planar magnetic headphones produce sound by means of a thin membrane embedded with a lattice of neodymium magnets. This entire membrane is pushed and pulled to form soundwaves, which not only means your music is incredibly detailed and accurate, but also rich and responsive across the entire spectrum. The lightweight nature of the membrane means it can move with a faster and tighter response than bulkier cone drivers, thus increasing resolution. Additionally, the large driver size means that the low-end always remains full and tonal, always musical and never cheap or boomy.
Popular among studio professionals for their ability to reproduce the most delicate nuances, these very well may be the most detailed piece of musical equipment in the shop. This closed-back design means that you can enjoy your music anywhere without outside sound disturbance or worry of giving off too much sound. Additionally, they are so efficient that they do not need an amp to power, so you can enjoy the LCD-XC's with any source, including mobile players or even smartphones.
This beautiful model is our demo unit, and has spent most of it's life tucked away safely in its case. There is not a single problem with them, and they are in amazing condition. This model has the lambskin earpads and is once again a closed-back design. We are offering this demo unit at 30% off retail price, or $1,260. These come with all the original accessories, including a well-built flight case that will keep your new Audeze's in tip-top shape.
