Sound that Shocks
The Stax SRS-3170 is an electrostatic headphone duo designed to give you shockingly accurate presentation. It begins with the SRM-323S, an electrostatic driver unit finished with a textured paint and brushed aluminum front plate. It powers a pair of SR-307 Lambda earspeakers built with the latest in Stax’s super engineered plastic diaphragm tech.
Ditching traditional dynamic and planar magnetic drivers, the SRS-3170 system uses a thin conductive diaphragm between two charged plates in order to produce some of the most transparent reproductions you can imagine.

Questions for the seller |
---|
I might be interested in this. Can energizer be adjusted to 120V AC for the US or what kind of energizer unit is it? I would like to get one specifically for US voltages and not a 110V Japanese unit that has to have a voltage transformer. Thanks. Hello,
These are adjustable from 100V (Japan), to 120V (North America)...TO 220V, 230V OR 240V EUROPE AND ASIA.
All out stock comes 120VAC to start.
|
So, just to be clear when you say "All out stock comes 120VAC to start" I assume this means it comes as 120VAC compliant. How are they adjustable? Thanks. the power transformer in the unit has multiple primary windings....all STAX does, it hook-up th wires to the circuit board in a different order, to change the voltage to the desired spec...for the market they are selling it to. Then, they put a sticker on the back...in this case, indicating 120V.
We no how to re-order the wires, to change that voltage....if the buyer is in a 220VAC market, for example. |
