The Prasound Halo P3 is a great Pre-Amp that boxes way above its reasonable price tag. Don’t believe me, read the many reviews, both professional and personal, that you can find online. An easy example, The Stereo Times Greg Petan (8 April 2003) reviewed the Halo P3/A21 combo and said:

“I did some listening after a brief warm-up period and I'd have to say, any audiophile on a budget could well start and stop their search right here. The Halo combination offered up more than a mouthful of the audiophile pie.”

The P3 has a clean, clear sound offering all the connections anyone could want (both balanced and unbalanced) – including two ‘direct’ connections that take the optional processing out of the path.

I’m not the first owner, so I’ve reflected that in my conservative rating, but this unit is in extremely good shape – no noticeable scratches or dings. There is a small ‘smudge’ on the front left wing that if you can get in the right light you can faintly see (check the pictures). ALSO, this unit was rack mounted and unfortunately the feet were misplaced somewhere in the process. Because of that I’ve included a set of Vibrapod #2 feet. I haven’t listened to the unit since the change, but my guess is this upgrade will offer a nice improvement over the standard (somewhat ‘basic’) feet. I believe new standard feet can be purchased from Parasound directly if desired. And, I never had the manual, but the pdf can be downloaded and printed from the Parasound website.

Why am I selling?...I simply have more gear than I’m using and this great pre deserves to be put back to work.
