This sale is for a true hi end preamp masterpiece the Pass Labs x2.5. It was a premier piece of gear over the last decade, very rare to find used for good reason. Build quality and sound second to none. It is a pure balanced Class A design, with of course 100% single ended RCA operation as well. It is rare to find one like this nearly new in the box. I cannot find any flaws on this so no surprises. Unit has a like brand new brick sized and heavy weight remote in its original box, see photos. It was never used as it was programmed into a universal remote. The unit will come with an extra fuse, manual and all original Pass Labs packing shipped to your location. Another rare feature is this unit has Dual XLR inputs, most preamps these days only give you one XLR input. So you can run all your sources with balanced / XLR as well as your amp out XLR if you wish. Also, it has a XLR Tape loop! That is really rare, for processors, rumble filters etc... Unit can trigger on 12 volt amp taps as well, by remote. That is why it looks like it has binding posts on the back. You can use the unity gain circuit on this with Input #4 for surround sound bypass etc... Another rare feature- Low and High gain settings 4 db and 14 db, XLR and RCA are controlled The Volume is totally unique, it is a dual Mono readout as you can see in the photo's as it will tell you both left and right volume on the blue display numbers. It has balance control, as well as can run 100% mono or stereo all by remote commands. This volume is a true detent engage type design, solid clicking detent, not a 20 dollar generic Alps volume pot used in nearly 99% of all the preamps. Down to the sound quality, well you already know its top rate, this unit will dig deeper into the soundstage and deeper into the bass than almost anything available, solid state or tube.
