The speaker looks flawless save for a few scratches on the bottom of the speaker, from shifting/contact with the base. Aside from the bottom of the speaker, there is no visible blemish at all. These are great sounding speakers and pair well with Peachtree Novas and Deccos, as well as other amplifiers. It has a lot of punch for a small footprint.

The DS5.5′s have a great bass output reaching down to 50 Hz. This is an over-performing level of bass reproduction in a speaker this size. If you do use a sub, it can be crossed over very low, so it becomes un-localizable or transparent. The overall result when blended with our silk dome tweeter is nothing short of musical.
