Monk Audio German made MC/MM phono preamplifier with amazing versatility: 3 inputs for different sources, 5 equalization curves (RIAA, NAB, EMI, Decca, Columbia) for modern and collector's recordings. The Red WIne Audio battery supply comes with two LFP lithium battery packs, one never used ($350 value) for years of listening. I am the second owner and no longer need so much versatility.

Monk-Audio Phono Preamplifier
Five fixed set equalization curves make it possible to reproduce the most important record label of the 50s original. Decca and Columbia are included as well as EMI and the early American LPs, such as RCA, which were cut even after NAB or NARTB standard. Of course, the playback after the RIAA standard is possible. The universality and usability was from the beginning in the specifications. The developers of MONK-AUDIO are proud of the high level of flexibility and uncompromising neutral reproduction of their phono preamplifier.

Three inputs, a two-stage adjustable overall gain, comprehensive adjustments for MM systems, built-in, any time switchable MC input transformers, stereo and mono playback selectable.

The preamplifier is built up continuously and consistently in classical discrete circuitry. The MC input transformers are manufactured specifically for MONK-AUDIO. Along with gold-plated RCA jacks and selected components from renowned manufacturers this ensures a long-term stable and reliable operation.
