I have had this in multiple systems and have made many comparisons to other phono stages.
I compared this to the following phono stages and it beat all of them: Dynavector P75 Mk3, PS audio, CJ P15, Rega Ios,BAT (cannot remember which model). The only stage I prefer in my system is the Avid Pulsare and its very close. Altmann has a superior treble, but the Pulsare is slightly stronger in the bass..which my Ensemble speakers need.
Happy to answer any questions about this wonderful phono stage. Charles is asking 7,000 eur now for it!!
