AURAL THRILLS AUDIO CUSTOM PHONO PREAMP

This unit was hand built  for me by Aural Thrills Audio (USA company). Expensive premium parts were used like: Mundorf, Nichicon & rca plugs. It is a point to point soldering design, which translates into no problems in the future. It was build like a tank (problems free).

This phono has a correct timbre & explosive dynamics plus it throws a very expansive and multiple layered sounstage. The unit has a very low hum (almost every phono has a low hum) which at the moment you begin to play and listen to an LP, you will be enjoying the music and the hum (if any) will not disturb at all.

It is recommended to use it with a high sensitivity speaker system and or a preamp with a high gain volume potentiometer as well.

The unit consist of the following:

1. (3) 12AX7 tubes
2. Possibility to use MM cartridge (recommended) & High Output MC cartridge; there is a load selector at the back of the unit for multiple settings of cartridge loads (47MM, 24K, 2.5K & 1K).
3. A main On-Off swicth is at the front (top left side) of the unit plus another one at the back (near the transformer) which works as an On-Off for the ground that comes from the IEC connector ( the A/C power) to the unit. All information regarding switches, tubes, selector & the internal fuse (0.5 amp. Slow Blow) will be shown on the papers that works as the manual for this unit. 
4. ****Safety Information**** Before any attempt to connect the unit to the AC power line, please, remove some bubble plastic wrap paper that has been placed inside of the unit for safety transportation purposes. Please, you will need to remove the (6) screws located at the bottom plate of the unit and discard the bubble plastic paper. After that, reinstall the bottom plate and the screws.
5. A new quad match set of (4) Electro-Harmonix tubes (12ax7) with a 10,000 hours (life expectation) will be included (three of them already installed on the unit as shown on photos). I got these tubes ($140) recently and use them around 80 hours ( just broken-in). I like the way they reproduce the music, a more faster & natural sound. 
6. There is also going to be included as a gift one  pair of a Transparent Whole House Music Link Interconnect (Lenght= 1 meter) that can be use between this phono and your preamp. This cable has the peculiarity that it is shielded in order to avoid the RF from others cables in such a way that it will benefits the signal traveling from the phono to the preamp.
   
7. A regular AC power cord is included (IEC connector).

Reason for selling, i am getting out of analog   (going on a different direction).

Rated as an 8, in order to be on the safe side, but it is an strong 9.
