For sale, Bob's Device Step Up transformer. Works great with Denon 103.
Ultra High quality laminations, and superior sound. This is basically the same as the 3440A (red label) transformers, except built with high quality laminations. These are very difficult transformers to construct and require a very precise manufacturing process that can only be accomplished by David Geren at CineMag. This one differs from the CineMag 1131 (Blue Label) SUT in that the 1131 is a completely new design, where the 3440AH is basically the 3440A built with better laminations. The sound from the Blue version is a step above the Red version. Includes premium construction with C&K Brand Silver contact toggle switches, and Deluxe Gold Plated RCA jacks. These transformers are wired to connect a moving coil cartridge (on a turntable) to a phono preamplifier, phono input of a receiver, or your preamp's phono input. Switchable for 1:16 (24 dB gain) or 1:30 (30 dB gain). Into a standard 47k phono preamp, the effective input impedance of the low gain (1:16 ratio) is 184 ohms. At 1:30, the effective input impedance is 52 ohms.
