Dynavector P75 MKII Phono Stage

A Few Notes about the P75 MK II: (Toffco US distributor note)

The included AC wall adapter is not the power supply for the audio circuitry. The wall adapter only provides unregulated DC to the very serious and innovative power supply inside the chassis. A tremendous amount of development went into this design and it is a big part of why the P75 performs as it does at such a reasonable price and compact design.

The P75 is essentially 3 phonostages in one box. It can handle MM or LO MC cartridges and has two phonostages for LO carts:

"Conventional" LO MC and
"PE" (Phono Enhancer) mode.

The conventional setting allows adjustment of normal cartridge loading at 25, 30, 100, or 470 ohms.

PE mode does not load the low output cartridge in the same way and incorporates circuitry from DV's flagship PHA-100 head amp. In PE mode, the unit is adjusted based on cartridges internal impedance. For example:

The DV 20X-L has an internal impedance of 5 ohms and would be set to the low resistance setting.

The DV 17D3 has an internal impedance of 38 ohms and would be set to the high resistance setting.

These settings for PE mode (low, med, high) are only adjusting gain.
