Golden Tube Audio SEP Tube Line Stage pre:

This is a very clean properly modified and up-graded pre amp (no phono option) and would call it an 8 out of 10 but there are a few very small micro dings on the top of the face plate (see photos) so it gets a 7 out of 10 rating.
It sounds really good and has better than factory specs.
UPGRADES:
New Tubes.
All RCA plugs were hard wired for better sound.
Coupling Caps were upgraded to new better Sinicaps.
Upgraded to higher current voltage regulators.
Better quality Volume regulator.
Hard wired one of the ends of the out board power supply for a better connection and sound.
Better new tubes.

The Golden Tube SEP 3 is a 6DJ8/6922 based line stage with 4 6922/6DJ8 tubes. This was their top of the line preamp. The functions are remotely and touch button activated, the control done through an EPROM. The external power supply uses a 5U4 tube rectifier. It is a very nice sounding unit. It has recently been serviced and brought up to better than factory specifications and sound quality.
