For your consideration, my Musical Surroundings' Nova 2 phono preamp in black. Check out the web for excellent reviews, and recommendations. This unit is sealed in the box, as I went in another direction for a phono preamp.
Some highlights of the design -
Based on the Super Nova circuitry, featuring an all aluminum casework, auto 'smart sensing' battery power supply, flexible loading and gain options, and fully discrete dual-mono circuitry (no op-amps).
