Phono stage preamp Next Sound Lx
Audio engineering company Next Sound presents its own unique development - a new tube phono stage. The special highlight: chains of RIAA correction in it is done without resistors and capacitors, that allows to avoid their negative effect on transparency and micro dynamics and delivers a noticeable distortion, thanks to the elegant solution - correction is provided with inductance of the lamps operating on the internal resistance. Such an implementation of the correction has not been applied in any serial phono stage in the world. Specially designed Lx - transformer performs correction of the bass and midrange while the inductor is responsible for high frequency range. Output transformer is equipped with the high quality core and specially selected by its sound characteristics wires made to order. Phono stage preamp is extremely stable to increasing input signal while maintaining low level of distortion across the entire frequency range.
The external Power Supply has a rectifier valve tube. Output stage in a basic version is supplied with the EL84 lamp, but customized versions with the other types of lamps are possible by request.
All components of the coil winding phono are manufactured by the engineers of Next Sound Company. The shortest stage without negatively influencing components guarantee accurate, open and timbre sound.
