For your consideration: a fabulous Esoteric Audio Research (EAR) phono preamp. One of the best phono stages I have heard. I purchased an EAR 868P preamp with the built in phono stage so this unit is now available. Very nice condition with 2 original ECC83 tubes. The 3rd tube is a 12AX7A NOS RCA?. I personally ran 3 NOS 1960 Raytheon black plates and found the sound greatly improved. Read the many great reviews on line. MM/MC compatable. The original box is included but not in great shape so I will double box the whole thing for shipping. I will rate it an 8 because I am not the original owner and you may find a stray scratch somewhere but it is in fine shape. Check out my perfect feedback and buy with confidence. Will you include the owner's manual?
John Hi John, I do not have the original manual. My understanding is that it is a double sided 3x5 card with very basic set up instructions, I.e. plug electrical cord into socket, insert RC cables into proper slot etc. I can poke around on line and see if I can locate one. I have a EAR 868 preamp and I can tell you the manual that came with it is elementary at best. Hope this helps, Randy |
