SATI EMPRESS NANOCRYSTALLINE
This in an "Ideal MC Phono Stage" that would be totally self-sufficient, which means it could drive by itself an entire audio system dedicated to a analog front-end source, without any need for further pre-amplification (a line-stage). It is build on nano crystalline transformers with separate tube regulated power supply.
Sati is like any other Tommy Horning’s systems, it is more custom boutique rather than mass commercial. Construction is state-of the art with very thick (10mm) aluminium casing all around. I hardly seen such a beautiful phono-stage with 6sn7’s incredibly glowing.
Everything are still in original factory condition except potentiometer, original Alps Blue pot have been changed to 2 x Dact CT2-100k-1 stepped mono attenuator. Retubing has been done using audiophile grade 6sn7 Sylvanias.
