This is a nearly new Audio Research Reference Phono 2 SE (Special Edition) phonostage. I am selling this for a friend who is disabled and will be selling off his entire system. This unit has less than 5 hours of use and works flawlessly. Cosmetically it is in great condition, but I rated it conservatively anyway.
The Reference Phono 2 SE uses 4 x 6H30 dual triodes, plus 1 x 6H30 and 1 x 6550C in power supply. There is lots of flexibility with gain (51dB and 74dB balanced/45dB and 68dB single ended), input impedance (47k ohm/100pf for MM and 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50 ohms and custom loading for MC), and EQ (RIAA, Columbia, and Decca) settings.
Comes complete with original box, manual, remote control, 20A power cord, and screw driver. It's quite heavy at 27 lbs. (38 lbs. including packaging). Will ship to lower US 48 only, buyer to pay for shipping, insurance, and PayPal fees.
