I am not he original owner, below is the text from the Audiogon add that I purchased it from. I've had it for 6 1/2 years and it has performed flawlessly. The batteries are brand new and unused. It's really nothing to look at but there is absolutely no noise and I have enjoyed it, I purchased a Herron to match my pre and amps. I can supply more pics on request.  "Custom Made Phono Made by White Noise Audio in the UK. This is a heavily modified unit. It is also quite heavy. It is two boxes. One with a battery supply & a cascaded power supply. The 2nd with the phono stage which is shielded heavily in a dual enclosure with each channel completely separate. The Phono stage is pure dual mono.
It is a solid state unit that is similar in design to the ASR Basis phono, using Op Amps for gain. It replaced a Groove Phono Stage in my system to much improvement. Works amazing with Koetsu & Air Tight cartridges.
The Phono stage uses a Cascode PSU and has added Vishay Resistors in all locations, a battery PSU, and loading plugs on the PCB for the resistors which are all Vishay. It has both single ended and blanced outputs and black gate capacitors in the PS. Connectors are WBT & Neutrik, internal wire is silver and the power supply can be switched from 110 to 220. Email me with any questions. This phono has served me well but I am simplifying my system.
The case is pretty banged & scratched up externally. But super solid. I can email photos on request, but at this price nothing comes close. This will be better than anything Solid State out there at even 50% off retail. It uses 4 alarm panel batteries but charging is not automatic. You choose weather to run it on battery or not.
Sound is smooth, liquid and no noise. Gain is about 70db which can be adjusted by changing the resistors on the PCB. There are no switches in the signal as the design is purist in approach.
One of the things you can do (which I don't know how to) is change to different OP AMPs inside (it uses 6) to change to sound. Quite a few users out there have done so. I just rather play with tubes instead."
