This is a Pioneer DV-09 CD/DVD player that was purchased on audiogon a few years back. I used this unit as a source for my tube amp and headphone set up. This player has been extensively modified. The modifications were done by Guido Tent himself. The basic upgrades were the XO power supply feeding the XO clocks. All of the rectification was upgraded. Heavy duty diodes and rectifiers were installed, as well as new capacitors. The output op amps were upgraded using high quality OEM op-amps and Audiocom modules. This is the best sounding CD-DVD source I have ever listened to. It bested all of the competition. The outside shows its age, but internally, she's a masterpiece. I've added real walnut sides, but I still have the original rose wood sides, and I will include them. I selling her because my source material is now on hard drives, and she is just too good to sit there not doing anything for someone. You will be shocked at the sound, and will find that a 100% solid copper chassis and isolated motor drives makes this unit a top contender for plug and play hi end quality sound reproduction. I will accept Bitcoins as payment too, for you serious computer geeks.
