Pioneer Elite DV-37 Upgraded audio section and power supply and the sound is wonderful!

This is an Elite DVD player but I have been using it as a CD player. I have upgraded all the electrolytic caps on the audio board and all of them on the power supply board, except maybe one. By upgrading all those caps it has really smooth the sound out. I also got rid of that small cheap power connector and placed a Furutech IEC with bigger Neotech Copper wire. The face is great except for one place where I hit it with something when I was moving. With a digital camera and flash it really stands out but without the flash you cannot see it unless the light is right. With that shiny plastic face plate there are all kinds of reflections but that one scratch that you can see in the picture is the only bad place. The top has a few scuffs on it but no scratches. I started having all my stuff power coated so I no longer have to worry about mistakes or wear. The player works great and even though it does not have the latest greatest chip set, which sometimes is okay and sometimes they are worse. I have the original box and the owner's manual and the remote. Why buy a new piece of stuff when the older stuff is built much much better and will out last this throw away new stuff at this price. The best part is too it sounds much better too! I upgraded 46 parts so it is ready to go and you will own some of Pioneer's best stuff.
