| What's inside the boxes under the interfaces? Also, what is the function of the "chicken-head" knob/switch on each interface? The boxes are filled with sand for stability since they’re kind of tall. The wire-round pot is a high frequency blend and the other is a low frequency blend. |
| I thought it might be for ballast.
I once bought a pair of 4s that weren't working, and it turned out to be poor connections to the stators in the interfaces. Yours might be an easy fix like these were. They played beautifully for two years. Then one panel started popping. Then it just quit and put my amp into protection. |
