Bohlender Greabener Radia 220I Center Channel Speaker

For sale is a nice Bohlender Graebener Radia 220 Center Speaker.

This is one of the clearest, most dynamic Center Speakers
you will find. 

This is the 220i version, which is ALL planar drivers … not
the DX version which uses a dome tweeter. 
It contains the NEO-3 (planar) driver, which is highly regarded and a
better match to the other Radia Ribbon speakers.

These originally sold for $1700 until recently, when one the original owners
(David Graebener) passed away in early 2015 and the company dissolved.   So these are likely to become harder to come
by, and more collectible. 

It has dual binding post so you can bi-amp or bi-wire if you
like.  The planar NEO drivers cross over
to (2) 6.5” woofers (sealed) to fill in the bottom end.

They have amazing clarity/detail, and throw a tremendous
soundstage.   They are very efficient  @ 91 dB/watt so came be driven easily.  Many folks prefer these to Maggies (not to
insult any Maggie owners out there).

This speaker is in great shape, and it quite stylish (brushed
aluminum, although I have is sprayed with black “plasti-dip”as it is serving in
a HT, which rubs off easily if you don’t like black) and is also quite wide at
41”, and weighs in a bit over 50 lbs.
