Quad ESL-2905 full range electrostatics

This is a demo pair I bought from an authorized dealer in fall 2015, but due to the onset of tinnitus I do not listen much to music nowadays. These are in perfect working order and excellent cosmetic condition.

I can package a Berning ZH-270 with the sale of the speakers (for an additional cost, of course) --this OTL tube amp is a wonderful fit, as it has the purity and drive the speakers need, but in a compact and cool running form.

They are considered among the best speakers in the world for their many strengths. A few excerpts from reviews tell the story.

I do not have the original boxes, and would strongly prefer local pick up, but I will drive two hours from my house in Westchester County NY and meet you with the speakers in the back of my SUV--the dimensions of the speakers are 57x 27 x 15. I believe I can source boxes big enough to ship them, but the necessary box size makes them slightly too large to be shipped via ground. Instead, they would have to via freight, and I have received quotes of around $550 for that--all costs associated with shipping would have to be paid by the buyer. I would pack them as well as I can, but if you want to arrange for a freighting and packing service to transport them, that would be fine.
A faulty SCR in one speaker was professionally replaced almost a year ago, and the speakers were gone through to ensure that neither has any problems. I do not have spikes, however, just the coasters. At this price, there is little room to negotiate. Buyer to pay all Pay Pal fees.
