The
Magna Riser MMG Mk 2 Designer Series is a limited production stand
specifically designed to effortlessly retrofit to your Magnepan MMG
using existing the existing rear mounting holes. You simply unscrew the
factory feet and then insert one of the provided custom stainless
washers over the new provided screw and fasten the screw through the new
stand bracket to complete the installation of your new precision
designed stand.

Replacing the original speaker feet addresses two
key areas that keep the speaker from the levels of sonic excellence
that it is truly capable. We believe cost considerations by the
manufacture led to a speaker foot design that was a compromise in both
look and sound.

The original factory stands have less than
optimized horizontal adjustment and less than optimal speaker elevation.
These stands elevate your Magnepan which helps improve sound yet still
allows for a stable vertical geometry.

Magna Risers also provide a
more effective mass loading that helps direct resonances away from the
panels which improves clarity. The use of the existing factory rear
mounting holes allows for greater stability using the oval base concept.

Simply
stated; factory stands do not as solidly support the speakers or offer
as upscale a look as the Designer Series. Your new stands firmly plant
the speakers so they can really "stand and deliver" more of the sound
the design is capable.

Most people who see them think they also give the speaker the look of more expensive design.

These
stands: Help provide improved detail, add musical nuance, allow for more defined bass with greater mid bass dynamic character while providing more refined high frequencies as
well as an enhance the sense of clarity and palpability. This model is our economy stand but it in no way compromises on performance. By opting for an attractive brushed metal finish over the alternate costly outsourced powder coating savings can be had while still maintaining a stylish appearance.

The Mk 2
version includes newly developed internal resonance tuning that allows
for greater refinement in the overall harmonic signature
of the speaker. The select wood bases are produced by an
architectural mill work specialty house that supplies custom woodwork
for high end hotels, restaurants, office buildings and multi million
dollar residences. They are designed on the latest CADCAM equipment and
then precision machined on a CNC milling device. The base material is intentionally selected for optimal sonic and
material stability characteristics.

When used with the supplied
thermally treated replacement jumper cable the sound becomes more
sophisticated, dynamically nuanced, focused and engaging.

Simply remove the solid
jumper provided by the factory and replace it with the proprietary
cryogenically treated replacement wire and securely tighten the set
screws to insure proper connection and you will notice a difference in
sound that reveals more of what the design can offer. If you are using
the optional resistor provided by the factory this jumper wire cannot be
used but you may want to substitute this jumper as we have found that
it allows the speaker to sound less aggressive in the high frequencies
yet still more refined.

The jumper wire is an audiophile
composite that is cryogenically treated which allows for greater
harmonic realism and textural resolution and refinement. Overall..the
combination of the mass loading of the speakers on the stands, resonance
dampening and replacement jumper wire enable the speaker to sound more
musically involving.

No...you will not confuse your speaker with a
fifty thousand dollar pair..but for the modest investment you may just
find less of a desire to upgrade immediately and you might find yourself
listening longer and more enjoyably at times and in an audiophile world
where some spend thousands for small improvements in sound...these

Shipment is limited to the continental US 48 through US Postal Service.

Each
pair is uniquely manufactured in limited production and will be
carefully wrapped and packed and then placed in a sturdy box.

A
signature will be required upon delivery to insure safe delivery unless
you specify otherwise. If you opt for no signature upon delivery you are
accepting the tracking information as proof of delivery. Shipment is
normally made within 24 hours of receipt of Pay Pal notification. A
