MAGNEPAN 2.6R planar magnetic speakers. Ribbon tweeters. No modifications. I purchased Magnepans new 1993. Speakers used from 1993 to 1996. Stored in climate controlled environments 1996 to present. January 2017--tested okay and sound fine. PICKUP ONLY. Miami Oklahoma. Miami is 20 miles southwest of Joplin Missouri.
What is offered:
- Two Magnepan 2.6R Planar Magnetic Speakers.
- Magnepan supplied stands.
- Magnepan supplied box with plastic bag, original packing materials.
- Two magnetic bars to immobilize ribbon tweeters and two ratchet tie downs to hold box together.
- Instructions for the Magnepan model MGIIIA. Dealer lost the manual for the 2.6R and gave me a copy of the manual for model MGIIIA. Thanks to a generous contribution by an Audiogon member...I now have a copy of the 2.6R owner's manual (2/3/17)
- I will demonstrate the sound of the 2.6R speakers.
