Quad ESL ESL 57 - Quads Unlimited

This is a pair of Quads Unlimited (Wayne PK)'s incomparable and famous Quad ESLs (57s, that is) in virtually mint condition.

I picked them up from the original owner so they have only been shipped once, from PK to the original owner.

I will not ship them as I don't have crates; they are for local pickup only (SW Milwaukee area, 30 minutes north of the WI/IL border). That said, if you want to hire Craters and Freighters to pack and ship them, that's fine with me. (I've used them a number of times and they always do a great job, but they are not cheap.)

There are absolutely no operational or cosmetic issues.

The have the stock feet, which I and Wayne PK think are best. With these feet and the floor bass reinforcement that results, *subs are not necessary* for virtually all music. That includes even a large room like mine which has no boundary reinforcement.

There are many people in the world (including renowned recording engineer David Chesky who believe these (ESLs restored by Wayne PK) to be the very best speakers in the world for acoustic music. You could order a new pair at significantly higher cost (and a *long* wait) or you could buy these.

When I bought my first pair of these speakers (new from Wayne) about five years ago I wrote a review of them, which is still on the net and has been cited by others.
