If you are looking for this brand I don't need to explain why you want them. 

But for the rest of us, you cannot buy better speakers for under 20,000$. The dual cones (titanium) are designed to illustrate low and mid-range sounds, and the planar ribbon tweeter reproduce all sounds nearly perfectly. People who say these speakers are too clean and brilliant probably own Macs with equalizers and tube organs.

The speakers were covered in felt bags from B&W speakers their entire life and look excellent without flaws or marks. Never damaged or repaired or anything but the best sound you can get. I paired these with B&W 804Ds and now want to pair a set of new XT-3s with the B&Ws.

Buyer must purchase shipping with insurance for this item and deliver to me in order to ship. Buyer assumes all responsibility and risk once I drop the item off at the carrier. Rates can be calculated for the speakers by themselves, or to ship on a standard fork-lift rack (I think 64”x48”x36” and I have one for free). 

The weight for each speaker is 68lbs boxed and the total for both boxes tied to a fork-lift rack is about 175lbs. Dimension of original box of each speaker is 54"X18"x16". On a fork-lift rack the dimensions are 64"x48"x36" with 2” hard styrofoam padding on top of and aside speakers.

No returns accepted for any reason. Just guarantee they have never been abused or damaged or repaired or anything aside from taking them out of box, protecting them both physically and electrically, and using them.

I never let anybody in my office/studio (much less get near these things), I live alone, and my children moved 2000 miles away 10 years ago, don't have kids and are responsible. 

The most power ever used to drive these XT-2s was 80% of 80WATTS from a NAIM NAP 250DR power amplifier (I already sold). Replacement NAIM 300 will be too powerful.
