Sound Lab A-1 PX Full-Range Electrostatic's

Original owner now selling these near-new, less than 2 yrs old speakers barely broken in, with less
than 300 hours use.
The frames are done in georgous rare Bubinga wood, I
personally picked up brand new cores and fully optioned backplates at the Sound Lab factory in
Gunnison, Utah, in March of 2015. The speakers will also come with 2
large pairs of matching Bubinga wood "wings" which bolster low-end
performance and allow for acoustic adjustments. All wood and all hardware in superb condition.

These are the 90 degree design, so they have better dispersion and a
wider listening sweet-spot than 60 degree radius panels. They have all
the optional upgrades available (Hot Rod, new toriodals, etc) to the new
backplates (power supplies). These
have very few hours since my return from the SL factory, due primarily to the three other high end systems I currently have on hand. Otherwise, I would not be selling these.

They sound
amazing and are set up currently in a system ready for demonstration
using Boulder 500WPC monoblocks and a Boulder Ultimate 3-piece preamp,
Synergistic Research and Boulder cabling, Oracle's current
top-of-the-line MK6 TT, Bel Canto PL1 disk player, Tice conditioner and more, ready to play. In fact, the Boulder amps and
Bel Canto PL1 were also Stereophile "Class A" recommended components.

The Editors of the Absolute Sound just named the Sound Lab M-1 PX's (
same cores and backplates, but no Bubinga frames ! ) one of the most
highly recommended speakers in their price range, in the March 2017 Editors' choice awards (see pg 52). Buy mine for less than half the $.

Retail price on these speakers currently is about $35,000.00 plus tax
($31,100. list + Bubinga wood option + wings + Bubinga wood option on
wings). So at my price and no tax, you have an opportunity to get one of
the worlds greatest speakers, like new with very low hours use, at a
huge savings off list.
Here's a chance to own a Stereophile magazine class A rated speaker for a
small fraction of the cost of a new pair.  I
am the original owner of everything listed and the only one to ever use
the system. Boxes and packing for everything except speakers, which are
easily transportable within a couple hundred miles.
