SOUNDLAB B-1 ELECTROSTATIC SUBWOOFERS - Awesome!!! - -

PRICED REDUCED!! Truly awesome electrostatic subwoofers. These are no longer advertised in the Soundlab site but they can still be special ordered at a small fortune. The only stat woofer to ever go unto the low 20hz territory. They are certainly the cleanest most transparent dynamic subwoofers ever made. You are not prepared for natural bass without boom or coloration until you have heard a properly designed electrostatic bass. Wait until you have heard these! Fast, coherent and unboxy. Rare to come by. Soundlabs make the best electrostatic bass. Since they are planar they do not have the problems of conventional cones. A must for planar (ribbon or stat) owners who want to improve the bass response of Stacked Quads, Martin Logans CLX or CLS versions, King Sound, Audiostatics, Acoustats, Magnepans or other Soundlabs. No discontinuity. And very reliable. These B-1s are rare and very hard to find since Dr. Roger West made few of these. I am the second owner. Power supplies were updated in 2006 by the first owner. They play clean, panels with no tears or sags and are awesome sounding. Always in a non smoking central air conditioned dedicated room. Frequency range is 20hz to 500 hz. An optional crossover may be used to adjust for the frequency if the user so wishes. Ideal with heavyweight tube or solid state amps than can go unto 8 to 16 ohm territory. Also, the future owner can always update them with the latest Soundlab developments since Dr. Roger West still fully supports and service these. Soundlab B-1s uses double facet panel technology in a proprietary configuration to achieve a prodigious unheard of bass output from an electrostat driver. Regret to sell them but moving soon to a new smaller house and won’t be able to fit them and much to my regret. The frame wood is a nice light oak wood. Easily movable with their built-in casters. I only have the crates for the backplates but not for the main speakers. So local pickup preferred or buyer can arrange shipping with suitable Freight Company. The plates can be shipped via FedEx Ground. To the prospective buyer: I can arrange and offer assistance in shipping these speakers to those living in the East Coast by highly recommending a transportation company called Sadko Trans serving areas of NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, GA, SC, NC, FL. They are very reasonable in price and take the best care in handling delicate speakers such as these in a cargo van. They provide for an economical and safe way to deliver them to you. Indeed they are superb in the work they do since I have used them before. Each speaker dimension: 82” tall; 43" width; 4” thick with 18" at bottom base. Backplates crates are 27” long; 17” wide; 12 ¾” tall Total of 2 Electrostatic subwoofers. I will entertain all reasonable offers.
