Plinius 9200 Brand New in Box!

Up for sale is a Brand New in open box Plinius 9200 Integrated amplifier. I bought this new from an authorized dealer for use in my secondary system. That is not to be as I am moving into a new house that does not have the space for a secondary system. I opened the box for inspection but have never connected the amplifier to any equipment. The buyer will be the first one to use this fine amplifier.

This has found widespread acclaim and has been a proven performer for Plinius. It is a powerhouse of an amplifier that is rated for 200 watts at 8 ohms--it can drive most speakers without breaking a sweat. The sound is typical Plinius--Musical with great bass, almost sounding like a Class A amplifier. All this performance in a reasonably compact package weighing in at about 30 pounds (your back will thank you when you lift it!).
A big plus is the excellent phono stage for vinyl playback.
I had compared this head to head with Simaudio I-7 when auditioning integrateds and preferred the Plinius (the Simaudio sounded sterile compared to Plinius).

It comes with the heavy remote, instruction manual, testing certificate and the white handling gloves in the original double box.
