Price reduced and offers will be entertained!
Infinity Prelude MTS. 6 towers (used in a left, right, left & right side surround, and left & right rear surround arrangement), 1 center, and 2 subwoofers. These were the flagship speakers from Infinity around the year 2000 and are probably still considered the best they ever made.
I pieced together this system several years ago and have been enjoying it for the last four years or so. It's terrific but I like to try different things from time to time -- this is actually the longest I've ever kept any set of speakers. I don't know what I'll be getting next but want to move these first.
All speakers are in very good to excellent condition but they are all also approximately 7 - 10 years old so I've rated them 7/10.
Besides the speakers themselves, I am including four wall mount brackets made by Infinity specifically for these speakers. These brackets are really the only viable way to wall mount these heavy speakers and they work very well (very secure, so long as you attach to a stud) and look great too. In addition, I have two floor stands (not four) which are also specific to these speakers. I never used these, and they are not pictured here, but they will be included as well. The floor stands can be filled with sand or any other ballast material you like. Finally, the center channel has a metal cradle which is also included.
I do have boxes and packing materials for all the speakers. However, I really don't want to ship these. If shipping is required, figure on several hundred dollars for shipping. Most importantly, I'd much prefer a prospective buyer to come inspect and hear the speakers so they know exactly what they are getting.
For pricing, a pair of towers and subs listed for $10,000 retail. I doubt anyone actually paid that much; probably $7500-$8000 was more typical. I'm offering not just a pair of towers and subs, but also four more towers, the center channel, four wall brackets, and two floor stands. The only thing not included is the center channel stand. Cash, bank or certified check is preferred but PayPal is fine but you'll need to cover the 3% fee. I'm covering Audiogon fees.
My feedback here is excellent and I'm happy to answer questions. Thanks for viewing my ad and I'd love to hear from any prospective buyer.
Thanks,
Shahab (Supergeeky)
