Upgrade fever has struck again! These speakers were enjoyed on weekends for the last five years in my non-smoking pet and child free vacation home. They were purchased from a trusted Audiogon member on the west coast when they were only a few weeks old. He had purchased them new from a Proac dealer only to discover that they were too big for his small room and traded down to D25's. They received a bit of a rough ride across country from UPS. The back corner of the left speaker was dented. I'm sure a competent wood worker can repair it but I never bothered. The plinths were pulled out from the base, but I had this repaired with additional bracing that makes them stronger than new. There are a couple other superficial scratches that are not really noticeable unless looking from behind within a few inches of the speaker. I always played with the grills off so there is no veneer fading as in many other Proacs I have seen for sale here. The cosmetic issues are not really noticeable except for the corner ding, but I wanted to provide full disclosure. The good news was that the drivers and crossovers were not damaged in any way. They have always sounded terrific with that full range warm and musical sound Proacs are famous for.I do not have the boxes to ship. They can be picked up at either of my homes in zips 12846 or 10579. I can also meet halfway just about anywhere in the Northeast. Lowered again to a give away pice!!!
