Krell Home Theater Standard 7.1 in good condition, complete with shipping carton, packing, remote, power cord and a copy of the Owner’s Manual.
An observant viewer will notice that the faceplate belongs to the Krell HTS 2. Here’s the story. Originally Krell planned to produce a final run of HTS 2’s. We suggested these be manufactured already upgraded to HTS 7.1’s. Hence we sold several HTS 7.1, including this one, with the older faceplate. Externally, there are slight logo variations and the button marked “User” now serves the “THX” function. Other than that, there is no difference between this and a regular HTS 7.1. The Krell Home Theater Standard 7.1 was a state-of-the-art home theater control center when it was manufactured in October 2005. It features Version 3.0 of the firmware which supports parametric equalization and high-def component video switching.
