If you want the beautiful McIntosh sound in your home theater along with their musical pre-amp, this is IT. Without all the sound DSP gizmos, this processor will compete against any processor out there in sound quality, especially at the current used price. Like my other McIntosh gears, it was also bought new. I rarely used it for HT but mostly for critical music listening sessions. Some of the features were not even exercised nor explored. It's in excellent condition with me being the sole owner of it. I would consider giving a discount if you decide to guy the matching MC205 5x200w amp as well.
