This SharpVision XV-Z12000 Mark II video projector is compatible with 1080i and 720p video sources. The projector’s picture is powered by a DLP DarkChip 3 offering state-of-art detail and native contrast. Additionally, it features Sharp’s CV-IC System II - 2nd generation advanced video scaler which up-coverts standard definition signals to the native 720p resolution of the projector (1280x720). Its 7 segment, 5x speed ND (Nuetral Density) wheel technology and bright 1000 ANSI Lumans rating produces a superb, film-like, flicker free video picture. It also has an iris switchover that, at the touch of a button, allows multiple brightness and contrast settings to maximise the picture for varying viewing environments.;

I've been using the projector in brightest mode the last year and just discovered that only one of the high contrast iris settings is working; it looks to be the medium setting but being a mechanical device I think it may only be ”stuck” so it may be easily fixed. It doesn’t affect the quality of the picture just the amount of ultimate contrast that it produces.

Along with a longthrow 1-1.35x manual zoom and focus lens, the projector also has an optical, vertical lens shift (one full screen height), which is extremely rare in a DLP protector and allows for a very esay and flexible installation.

The projector's DVI-HDMI compatible output provides 480p/540p/576p/720p/1080i resolutions and upconverts 480i video from DVDs to 720p/1080i high definition for a clearer picture. I have also included a $35 DVI to HDMI adapter so the projector can be used with the HDMI digital output of current bluray/DVD players. Additionally, I’m also including an extra bulb with about 1200 hours on it.

INPUTS:
• DVI/HDMI input: 1 (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i resolutions)
• S-Video: 1
• Composite: 1
• Component/RGB: 2
• Computer Serial - RS232C: 1
• 12 volt screen trigger: 1

It has all of the accessories, full owner’s manaul and will be shipped in it's original box. It is in working condition but no warranty and sold "as-is.”  Because the spare lamp will not fit in the projector's box, it will be shipped separately at no additional cost, economy ground.
