PSE stands for professional systems engineering and is known for its quality sound in audiophile circles. You will not see this amp for sale very often if not at all because it is one of the most musical amps out there for the price. Built during the early 90's it was designed when two channel stereo was at its peak. It is packed with quality parts like loads of wima caps throughout, oversized toroidal transformer, and large power supply caps that gives this amp lots of headroom coupled with an enormous soundstage. You will also appreciate its ability to deliver an excellent bottom end which makes it a good candidate for reproducing rock as well as softer generes of music. It is also ultimately transparent which has impressed myself and have considered it one of the most enjoyble solid state amps I have heard to date. Mates easily with both solid state and tube preamps.
Rated a conservative 7/10, it operates very quiet both mechanically and electrically and more important it works perfectly! The Studio IV is black with oak side panels & has external heatsinks mounted to the front of the amp and is highlighted with a red pilot light. The power switch is located at the rear of the amp as it's sound improves substantially as it is left on & warms up. Will add pictures over the next few days to this ad.
Note: This amp is available otherwise the ad would of have been cancelled. I keep on top of my ads.
