I have for sale a PSE Studio SL preamplifier in good condition with phono that can accomadate either MM or MC cartridges via internal switching. Some of the buttons on the front are used for: phase correction in the event a component like a preamp reverses phase, bass compensation done in suttle way to enhance bass-shy recordings and finally a button that reduces gain. It has five pairs of RCA inputs and two pairs of RCA outputs, some have which been upgraded. The Studio SL does not have a power button as the manufacturer intended for this preamp to powered up all the time for the best possible sonics. This preamp has phenominal measurements and in addition sounds excellent, really tough to beat at my asking price.

Stereophile Magazine had this to say (January 1990) about the PSE's:

"As I played album after album, I remained impressed with how well the PSE units performed. I also became aware of the colorations in my own system---colorations I will have to deal with later. The Studio SL and Studio IV did not disappoint. They presented the music in a way which involved me. They will please detail freaks as well as those who value soundstaging ability. They can place the listener in the recording venue. The PSE's did not distort the timbres of the instruments they produced. They handled dynamics with aplomb and conveyed the heft of a trombone section with the same authority I heard recently on Mark Levison gear".
