Here is what Enjoy the Music said about the PP2000:
"So how did the system sound? All I can say is WOW!!! On two channel SACD’s and computerized digitized reproductions of studio analog tapes from the 50's and 60's, the sound was unbelievable, the best my system has sounded in it's 28 years of existence".

An early user feedback on the 2000 is as follows:
"I had a friend say to me that she thought that my system sounded great before, but now, wow! She asked me how it can make such a difference, and I explained that my stuff had never been fed perfect power before. She's not really an audio person at all, and she even noticed the
difference! She said, "Play me some more!" Of course I had to
Oh, my wife plugged in a couple of horse water tank de-icers (exterior outlet) that are apparently on the same circuit as the 2000 (and all of my equipment) and blew the breaker (the de-icers are 1500 watts each). I had no idea that this had happened until I tried to turn on the lights and nothing happened. I checked the status line and noticed that the battery reserve was down to about 45%. Seamless transition. Unplug the de-icers, flip back the breaker, good to go."
Thanks again, James
The PP2000 was designed to run the huge power amps and systems that no regenerator would run up until now. It can deliver huge power to your amp or full system.
The first time you lose power and your system keeps playing you will be AMAZED!
The PP2000 line conditioner is unique and outperforms any line conditioner that I am aware of. It will do a continuous 16.6 amps RMS, 25 amps for short duration (30 seconds) and up to 50 amps for short term peaks!!
The 2000 does the following six jobs:
1) Regulate the line voltage to an exact 120 volts, at all times.
2) Totally clean the line of all distortion.
3) Totally isolates your gear from the wall.
4) Protect your gear from line spikes & surges.
5) Battery backup runs your system even with a total blackout.
6) Provides huge short term instantaneous peaks that do not compress power amps on large musical peaks.
The 2000 makes perfect AC power and does not compress dynamics like the other Regenerators that have been made up until now. It is available in Silver or Black finish
Advantages are as follows:
a) True regenerated AC power offers total isolation from power disturbances & noise, as well as total protection from spikes & surges
b) It produces a pure analog sine wave. This Perfect AC allows your system to perform constantly up to spec, even under peak power conditions.
c) The Powerful integrated battery keeps AC keeps flowing with full protection even in a blackout. This protects delicate integrated circuits and is especially important to protects DLP and LCD lamps.
d) With a 3:1 crest factor these units deliver peak instantaneous power of 4200 watts. No current limiting means that your large tube and solid state power amps will not be compressed with these units.
e) Electrical approval - These units are approved by CE, UL, CSA. They meet the electrical code unlike many of the competition that could never get UL approval. Simply put, these units are safer than the competition.
The Pure Power 2000 is perfect for systems with large amps, multi channel systems and larger systems with lots of source components.

Here are the summations of some of the reviews:
"With the Audiophile AVPS in use, the various rhythms and textures that he used were reproduced with much more clarity. The different types of cymbals used could be heard much more easily. The increase in clarity was not accompanied by any hardness or glare, and that's a good thing. Tonally, music overall from top to bottom seemed richer, more full sounding as compared to the sound using the PS-Audio P-300."
"I am not aware of any other power line regenerator that has all of the capabilities of the APS 1050. Considering price, performance, technology and style, the Audiophile AVPS PurePower 1050 Power Conditioner receives my highest recommendation."

Audio Revolution.con summed up with:
"Let me be clear, I think this is the single most powerful, effective power product currently on the market. For audiophiles at least, one unit is an absolute must, but I could see someone with demanding amps using a PurePower 1050 simply for amps and a second PurePower 700 for source components. For custom installers, I see the PurePower as a mandate for the design of racks. Keeping products from crashing and running power to them exactly to the specs of the particular gear is a way to cut down on service calls, as well as give the client the most performance for his or her money. In the end, this is the best, most performance-oriented AC power device we have tested at AVRev.com. I now use it in my reference rack, publisher Jerry Del Colliano uses one, and we suggest that, if you want the most from your system, you consider a PurePower 700 for your system also."

"Auditioner beware: after hearing this level of performance improvement, there is no way I can live without Pure Power in my system. Clearly the Audiophile AVPS PurePower 1050 performed better than the Richard Gray 400s on my video projector. I have come to the conclusion that the PurePower 1050 is the ultimate piece of electronics for video use. Combined with the vast improvements in color and contrast, something that many display devices lack in this day of fixed pixel digital displays, it provides better backup for safeguarding your display by allowing it to properly cool off in the event of a power outage."
"The PurePower 1050’s sonic and video improvements eclipse the impressive feats I remember vividly while evaluating the Exact Power EP15A."

"Audiophilia is about finding insight into and deriving enjoyment from recorded music that's simply unavailable without gear of sufficient quality. Audiophile AVPS can take pride in knowing they're providing such access."
"All of the intimacy and the immediacy of Cullum live, including the way he hugs the microphone and the position of the band, are conveyed through the playback chain powered by the PurePower 1050."
"Now knowing what an improvement the '1050 makes to my system in total, I'm starting to dread having to send the unit back."

Does Your Electricity Meet Spec?
Probably not. Audiophiles and videophiles alike know a lot about sound and video but not so much about the role their own electricity plays in the performance of these systems. After all, most of us just assume the electricity coming into our homes and offices is clean, stable, and free of noise and distortion. As long as it works, we don’t actually spend much time thinking about it. However, the Power Grid is 100 years old now and the system is showing signs of its age now. power grid 48232 150x150 Does Your Electricity Meet Spec?
Here’s the problem: The electricity coming into our homes and businesses is noisy, distorted, and unstable. Non-linear loads from switching power supplies (computers, portables) generate high levels of distortion in our homes.
