QUAD SUPER 63's. Built by WAYNE PICQUET five panel 63's state of the art Quad's! 6 month wait

I commissioned these SUPER 63's from the number one Quad Electrostatic re-bulider and service man in the world-Wayne Picquet, owner of Quad's Unlimited in FL. After talking extensively with Wayne, and taking advice from the man who has built more stacked, tripled, and various configurations of 57's and 63's, we decided after prolonged listening that a five panel 63 as opposed to the original 4 panel unit, or the even larger 6 panel 989/2905 unit available today, was the best possible version of the Quad Electrostatic. Using refurbished 63 panels with all the same delay lines, but now with brand new RC boards, by electrostatic Solutions, and solid maple frames reinforced with steal hardware and a bolted steel anchor frame, they are rock solid non flexible panels. No grills only transparent Magnepan cloth they are not for homes with young children.
The sound-If you value the cohesiveness of 57's but the weight slam and bandwidth of ML Summit X's these top it all. No cone to panel discontinuity, they cast a massive deep and illuminated soundstage. Transients snap and explode with no overhang or fatigue. Bass is awesome, unlike the original 57, it has weight not heard until the 989, but betters the cohesiveness of the 989! I waited 6 months for these babies, I believe the wait is even longer now.
I am only selling as I am moving back into NYC, and do not have the room for them to sing! You need a big room with at least four feet of space to the rear wall.
The plaque on the front has a custom dedication to me, the buyer will get a blank plate he can replace it with, and have inscribed what ever he wants.
I have a massive wood crate they were shipped in. I prefer pick up, but will ship freight by AFC Global, at buyers cost. (That is how I got them, delivered There is a small hole in the cloth on the back of one speaker from the cat, but it does not effect the performance as it is cosmetic, and luckily hidden in the rear.)
