Pleased to offer for sale this very very cool & rare JVC JR-S600 Mark II Stereo Receiver
This was the top of the line in the S Series, lots of great features on this unit including a graphic equalizer and sliding volume knob
This receiver had some issues when I got it into the shop, I've gone through it extensively and repaired most of the issues! The tuning flywheel mount was completely replaced (JVC used disintegrating pot metal for their brackets), tuner was completely re-strung and re-aligned. All pots and switches were completely flushed with deoxit, and inside and outside of the unit were cleaned up. I also replaced a couple fuses and put brand new lamps in both meters.
All functions on this unit are now working great! Was able to pull in FM stations quite well without even using an antenna. All the inputs worked well and sounded smooth and powerful, both speaker channels work perfect! Sliders worked great, very nice feature for a large stereo receiver like this. One slide is missing its cap but still easily usable.
The input buttons on the front of the unit each have a little label that is supposed to light up blue when pressed. The lights behind AM, PHONO-1, PHONO-2, AUX, TAPE 1, & DUBBING all work, the lights behind SPK-1, SPK-2, FM, & Tape 2 do not work. I thought about replacing the burnt out bulbs as they are all mounted on the same board and are fairly easily accessed but I will leave that up to the next buyer's discretion.

This is a very heavy receiver and based on your location it may be expensive to ship, please do not ask for a shipping discount. I use brand new packing materials and always overpack to ensure safe delivery!
