Very pleased to offer for sale this beautiful Sansui 9090DB Stereo Receiver!
This
is a one owner unit. The original owner was a GI during Vietnam and
purchased this while there. In my experience I have found that GI owned
electronics are always the most well taken care of pieces of equipment
you can find. This one is no exception!
Worked great when I
first received it but I have gone through and done a good service on it
anyways. I replaced a couple burnt out bulbs, deoxidized and lubed all
the pots, and also coated all metal connections with Deoxit Gold for
many more years of flawless performance.
This is a 100% operational unit, all inputs and speaker channels work terrific! Very powerful sound!
I
would recommend having the dial lights converted to LED's, the currents
lamps though brand new just don't seem bright enough to me in normal
lighting, but I will leave that up to the next buyer.
The
walnut cabinet looks flawless, no obvious scratches or chips, only thing
to note is that there was a serial number etched into the top
(consistent with this being GI owned). This has been stained over and is
not very noticeable. I can provide an additional picture of this if
wanted.
