Rated 8 because I’m the second owner. Lots of on-line reviews.
In Vinnie’s (talented designer and straight shooter) own words from the owner’s manual, improvements over the previous (non-LFP-V) version include: greater dynamics; tighter, more resolved bass; more open and extended treble response; a more lifelike musical presentation; improved tone and harmonic richness; a taller, wider and deeper soundstage; improved PRaT; improved retrieval of fine detail; ability to fine-tune via tube rolling.
At my asking price, I’ll include a 1969 Siemens 6922 (w/receipt for $180 from Brent Jesse Recording) that came with the 30.2 and was represented by a reputable seller as having no more than a few hundred hours use. I added no more than 50 hours use. Stock tube will also be included.
