Beatles - The Beatles 2009 Remasters Japan Box Set TOCP-71021 16 Stereo Digipak CD plus - OOP

BEATLES JAPANESE BOX SET – 16CD +1 DVD TOCP-71021-36. This is the first out of print Japanese pressing (TOCP-71021). It was purchased by myself from HMV Japan (Order no. 15798622) and imported from Japan on September 13, 2009 with the OBI strip. This box set is is authentic, brand new and sealed. This EMI Japanese Limited Edition has 16 CDs and 1 DVD. Shrink wrapped and sealed from 2009, never opened.

The Japanese version of these CD's are housed in a larger digipack than their USA and EU counterparts. In addition, to great sound and impeccable pressing quality, this digipack variation makes this set very unique. Audiophiles take notice a better pressing means your CD player's processor has to work less hard in fixing errors and can just concentrate on digital to analog conversion. This translates into a more smooth and dynamic sound. This Stereo Box set contains all 13 original albums, from 'Please Please Me' to 'Let It Be' plus the 'Past Masters' which has been re-mastered and repackaged as a 2-CD set. Each original album comes with a bonus enhanced video of the 'Making Of' each album using exclusive original footage from the Beatles' own archive plus other rare footage, with voice-over entirely spoken by the Beatles themselves and producer George Martin. These have also been collated onto one bonus DVD unique to this set. Housed in a sealed high quality box with extensive booklet, OBI strip and magnetic fastening, each album is presented in a 3 -panel card package and complete with a set of historical notes on each album to accompany recording notes on the actual process of making the records at the time.
