For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by British band HAIRCUT ONE HUNDRED, titled:

1. "PELICAN WEST"

original 1982 pressing on Arista Records AL 9607, STEREO, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve. No bar code on back cover.

BAND'S DEBUT ALBUM AND THEIR FINEST

CONDITION:
- front cover is between Exc. to NM (having: one minor crease by the upper right corner; a few light creases by spine; three corners a little touched; no shelf-ring wear, no cutouts)
- back cover is close to NM
- vinyl is between Exc. to NM side one (having some light imprints from the original sleeve that was replaced being wrinkled plus one-two tiny superficial surface marks hardly visible) and close to NM side two

Record was cleaned and tested, playing MINT.

PERSONNEL: the 6-member Haircut 100 band plus a few guest musicians added on some tracks. Band formed 1980 by Nick Heyward (vocals, guitars, composer) with DEBUT ALBUM released 1982 (offered here) and second and last one issued in 1984. Years active 1980-1984.

12 tracks, studio recordings. Featuring band's 4 top hits taken from this album. Produced by Bob Sargeant. Album ranked number 2 on the British billboard. Music is classic pop-new wave crossover British style fused with occasional beat and jazz elements (also some calypso moves on two tracks). Superb sonics and album from start to finish. The only playable copy I've seen so far of this great album. Highly recommended!
