For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by legendary British band THE KINKS, titled:

"ARTHUR OR THE DECLINE AND FALL OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE"

1971 pressing on Reprise Records RS 6366, STEREO, gatefold cover, made in USA. Original WB-Reprise plastic inner sleeve. I acquired this album about twenty years ago from the original owner (former record collector). This is first reissue of same album originally released 1969 (on two-tone Reprise label). No insert.

SPECIAL REMARKS:

- the back cover contains applied in black marker the signature of the legendary British musician RAY DAVIES, co-founder of the Kinks band in 1964. The original owner met Ray Davies after a show in New York City, early 70's, and asked him to sign this album for him (Ray Davies wanting the sign on front but the original owner asked him to sign on back cover since the front was too dark)

CONDITION:

- front cover is between Exc. to NM (having: some light overall shelf wear; one minor crease by the bottom right corner also slightly bumped)

- back cover is close to NM (having the bottom right corner a little touched-pushed)

- vinyl is NM both sides (possibly MINT) (VISUAL GRADING)

12 tracks, studio recordings, all written by Ray Davies. Album produced by Ray Davies. Very interesting and special classic British rock fused with beat and psych elements. Highly recommended!
