"So much has been said and written about the Beatles -- and their story is so mythic in its sweep -- that it's difficult to summarize their career without restating clichés that have already been digested by tens of millions of rock fans. To start with the obvious, they were the greatest and most influential act of the rock era, and introduced more innovations into popular music than any other rock band of the 20th century. Moreover, they were among the few artists of any discipline that were simultaneously the best at what they did and the most popular at what they did." - AMG.
"Picking up where 1962-1966 left off, the double-album compilation 1967-1970, commonly called The Blue Album, covers the Beatles' later records, from Sgt. Pepper's through Let It Be." - AMG.
This is the original 1973 release known as the 'Blue Apple Labels'.

4 sides of great Beatles songs. Side 1 sounds good - typical Beatles sound, but sides 2, 3 & 4 are exceptionally good. On these sides the Bass is deeper, mids are fuller and treble is NOT so brite - more neutral. Very nicely balanced sound with good dynamics and even some stage depth.
Surface noise is mostly between tracks only.
Each record is washed on a VPI cleaning machine using a proprietary 3-5 agent process which is determined by the needs of the individual record. Each record is then listened to 100% to insure that the posted description is exactly what you can expect to get.
