Rogers LS3/5A 15 ohm with matched serial numbers

Genuine pair of Rogers LS3/5A monitors,15 ohm version with matched serial numbers SO1931A and SO1931B. Serial numbers would place these somewhere in the mid to maybe late 70s. These belonged for many years to a woman who lived in my building (she may have been original owner, not sure). The cabinets are certainly worn (scuffs, chipping at corners, etc), hence the 5/10 rating (and they could probably be refinished if you wanted to, though maybe that degrades value). The drivers look to me to be original, and most importantly work perfectly. These are a fantastic pair of small monitors with a midrange accuracy that comes close to (or equals) my reference electrostatic hybrid speakers, and they performed wonderfully with a Music Reference RM9 tube amp I have on hand. I can understand what all the fuss is about original LS3/5As. Living in a NYC apartment, I don't have the room for a lot of extra stuff, and since I have a pair of full range reference speakers, these are not getting much use from me. But they sure are fun! If I had the space, I'd keep them. Can be picked up in Manhattan.
